Five pillars of excellence designed to transform our community into a model city
A safe community is the foundation for everything we value in Chestermere. I am committed to comprehensive safety improvements including effective traffic calming measures on busy streets, upgraded traffic signals and crosswalks for better pedestrian safety, and safer school zones. I will advocate for enhanced community policing initiatives and work with schools, parents, and neighborhoods to secure our parks, pathways, and public spaces. Public safety means creating an environment where families feel confident, seniors can walk safely, and our entire community can thrive without fear.
We need to look at growth responsibly. This includes looking for opportunities for more schools, medical centres, recreation and commercial. There needs to be a balanced approach. Families and seniors need housing that works for them, with good quality homes and safe development sites. I'll advocate for more affordable and age‑friendly options, ensuring seniors can stay in our community, and families have the homes they need to thrive. Any growth and development should include planning that works with our existing communities.
Access means better roads, schools, and recreation. I'll push forward road improvements like the 17th Ave / Chestermere Blvd expansion, advocate for new school sites and support the new multi‑use recreation centre with pools, gyms, and outdoor spaces for everyone. We need a hard look at options for transit and commuting in and out of the city.
Our diverse people are Chestermere's strength. I'll support seniors, youth, families, and local entrepreneurs. From better parks and libraries to small business support, I'm focused on helping people succeed and enjoy a high quality of life right here at home.
A strong community listens to its residents. I'll create better ways for citizens, nonprofits, and local groups to work together, ensuring every voice is heard. From a Non‑Profit Hub to open town halls, I will put Chestermere's future in the hands of its people.
Chestermere is growing fast. Families want safe streets, thriving recreation. Schools and a healthy lake. But growth must be managed responsibly — with planning, transparency and accountability.
I'm running because I believe our city deserves councillors who not only provide a vision but also know how to deliver results on time and on budget. Making decisions is the first step, but executing a plan can be a hurdle where there is often failure or things overlooked. Let me be a guiding voice in council on how to lead plans and decisions to success.
